A popular US fast food chain that's been making waves in the UK recently has finally brought over one of its popular menu items - and it's big news, quite literally.
Louisiana-based chicken chain Popeyes is one of many US-based companies to have made the leap across the pond, having opened up in the UK back in 2021, joining the growing number of US franchises including the likes of McDonald's, Burger King, and KFC.
And now it's not just the concept itself that has expanded, as the company has now also brought with it an icon of its menu, which has become a favourite on the US fast food scene.
Anyone who's visited a Popeye's in the States may already have guessed what it is.

Yep, we're talking Mega Dips, which are all thanks to the US' love for supersizing.
Popeyes' Mega Dips are coffee-cup-sized servings of the chain's house sauce for people to dip their chicken in, with condiments served in 450g portions - that's a big cup of dip.
Brits will be able to enjoy three different sauces - classic ranch, smoky kickback, or a warm cheese dip - costing £3.99 each.

If the thought of that much sauce is a bit much for you, there is a smaller option called a 'Big Dip', which costs £1.99 for 160ml of dipping sauce.

Dave Hoskins, head of food at Popeyes, said in a statement about the dips: "Inspired by the worldwide love for huge dips, we thought it was about time to bring that extra bit of sauce to Popeyes in the UK.
"Whether it be our fan-favourite Ranch, the specially-festive Cheese sauce or our Cajun-inspired smoky signature Kickback sauce, these oversized dips are the perfect pairing for our Shatter Crunchin’ chicken and are here to bring maximum flavour to the menu."

It seems that the dips are selling well, with around 115,000 Mega Dip servings sold already.
That's a whopping 51,750 litres of the sauce.
Popeyes is far from the only restaurant to be offering larger servings of dipping sauce.

US chain Raising Cane's, which has recently announced plans to open up in London, has gone viral online for an enormous serving of its secret sauce.
This sees customers getting a whopping 32-ounces, just under 950ml, of the signature dip.
