If you thought KFC was just about buckets, zingers and those tiny pots of gravy, think again - because people are only just discovering the holy grail: the KFC buffet.
That’s right, while many of us are grabbing our two-piece meals and legging it, some lucky punters are filling their plates again and again at all-you-can-eat KFCs. And yes, they still exist.
Over on Reddit, a user named Misanthropiz recently sparked serious food envy after posting about their local KFC in Florida.
They noticed something strange: the buffet area, once shut to the public, now had utensils labelled in the pans.
"It’s not available to the public anymore," they wrote, guessing it might now be reserved for 'private events'. But the labelling had them wondering if the buffet was making a comeback.
Naturally, the internet lost it.
"Excuse me.. what? Your KFC has a buffet?" one person replied in disbelief.

Another added: "I wanted to experience a KFC buffet a couple years ago. I went on the KFC website and located the only one in my state that had it. Drove about an hour to get there, saw no buffet, and the worker said they hadn't had one in like 20 years."
But apparently, a few buffets are still going strong - and one man took it upon himself to prove it.
YouTuber Joel Hansen tracked down a KFC buffet in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada and went full beast mode.
After eating a jaw-dropping 41 pieces of fried chicken, he told viewers: "There is no shortage of food, no shortage of chicken, she [a KFC worker] said that’s every day."
"There’s definitely [a] dinner rush here, I’m quite surprised how many people don’t do the buffet, they order like a five, 10 piece meal [which is] the exact same thing, and just sit here and eat it."
"The buffet is just as good, and I think it’s better value, way better value because it’s unlimited."
"I’m calling it quits, so that everybody, is a lot of fried chicken."

Oh, and it doesn’t stop there.
In Japan, one KFC in Tokyo’s Minami-Machida Grandberry Park still runs a buffet offering a whopping 80-minute all-you-can-eat fried chicken feast, alongside pasta, curry, biscuits and even soup - all just down the road from the Snoopy Museum, of course.
Back in January, KFC even ran a limited-time all-you-can-eat campaign across Japan.
So yeah - KFC buffets are real, and they might just be the brand’s best-kept secret.
