Pizza Hut has said it will close dozens of restaurants across the UK after the beleaguered chain went into administration.
Some 1,210 employees are at risk of redundancy as a result of the closures, which will see 68 locations in the UK shut down.
In addition to the restaurants, 11 delivery sites will also be shut down as part of company restructuring.
Pizza Hut is known for its casual family friendly dining as well as its salad bar and takeaway options, but has been struggling financially for some time.

The firm previously went into administration less than a year ago.

While dozens of outlets are set to close and more than a thousand jobs are at risk, Pizza Hut's global brand owner Yum! Brands has also stepped in to secure 64 other restaurants, as well as 1,276 jobs.
A spokesperson for Pizza Hut UK said in a previous statement: "We are pleased to secure the continuation of 64 sites to safeguard our guest experience and protect the associated jobs."

Meanwhile, on Monday, administrators from corporate finance firm FTI were appointed to DC London Pie Limited, the operator for Pizza Hut's sites in the UK.
FTI Consulting have said that DC London Pie was hit by a combination of 'challenging trading conditions and increased costs', as well as the business' cash-flow coming under increasing pressure 'as a result of tax-related obligations'.

On Tuesday joint administrator Matt Callaghan said in a statement: "The joint administrators will continue to work with employees who have unfortunately been made redundant, to ensure they get the support needed."

Nicolas Burquier is the managing director of Pizza Hut Europe and Canada and called the agreement reached on Monday a 'targeted acquisition'.
Mr Burquier explained that the agreement 'aims to safeguard our guest experience and protect jobs where possible'.
He added: "Our immediate priority is operational continuity at the acquired locations and supporting colleagues through the transition."
DC London Pie previously purchased Pizza Hut UK's restaurants in January 2025 to save them from insolvency, with the company also owning Pizza Hut franchises in Denmark and Sweden.
