Victoria's Secret model Alex Conasni once lifted the lid on how Diet Coke plays a vital part behind the scenes—and not for the reason you may suspect.
On Sunday (18 October), the iconic Victoria’s Secret catwalk returned to Los Angeles for the first time in 2007, with Heidi Klum acting as host and the likes of Adriana Lima and Bella Hadid opening the show.
Kylie Jenner made headlines stepping out for her debut in a $50 million diamond bra alongside the likes of Washington Spirit’s Trinity Rodman, Natalia Bryant, daughter of the late Kobe Bryant, and Megan Thee Stallion, who performed ‘Her’ and ‘Body’ as the evening’s last act.
Alex Consani also returned to walk her third Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, having previously debuted as the first-ever transgender VS model with Valentina Sampaio back in 2024.

Last year, she sported both silky red and lacy black lingerie; she was dressed in a powder pink set and a romantic black number this year.
Prior to the 2026 show at the Sony Studios in Culver City, the 23-year-old sat down with Harper’s Bazaar to reveal a ‘secret’ about Diet Coke and Victoria’s Secret models.
“Alex Consani is just feeding my Diet Coke addiction and giving me one more reason to keep buying it,” one Instagram user said after hearing her confession.
A second remarked: “We would do this as dancers as well going on those really shiny glass or shiny floors that often get used for TV shows!”
“Omg this is real teaaaaaa,” someone else added, while a fourth added: “This is literally such a ballet hack I would’ve been geeked like the interviewer.”
VS model Diet Coke ‘hack’

Speaking on the publication’s The Good Buy podcast earlier this summer, the in-demand model said: “The thing that I’ve learned in fashion, a lot of the designers do two things.
“So, when you get a pair of shoes, they score them. But what I didn’t know, you pour a little bit of Diet Coke on the floor, and you tap inside, and then you get the Diet Coke into these scratches that you have, so you’re sticky.’
Consani reasoned that when you walk, you ‘stick to the ground’ as the soda is in the ‘divots’.
“It doesn’t really come out when you walk,” she added.
How Barbara Palvin ‘prepped’ for VS fashion show
Despite only giving birth six weeks ago, Hungarian model Barbara Palvin returned to the runway on Sunday night.

Speaking ahead of the event to Page Six, the 33-year-old said she ‘prepped’ for the catwalk by letting her body ‘heal on its own’.
“Funny enough, my body bounced back — luckily — really quickly,” she claimed.
“Add I think it’s because I’ve never been healthier. During pregnancy, I really wanted to make sure baby girl was healthy, so I only did organic foods.”
The mother-of-one continued: “And now postpartum, because I’m breastfeeding, I wanted to make sure I was eating good. So that’s how I prepped: I just let my body heal on its own and did some light exercises, but nothing crazy.”
