A little-known Taco Bell ‘hack’ is going to change the way you chow down on your takeaways forever - here’s everything you need to know.
There are almost 8,300 Taco Bell locations in the United States, with each one rustling up the fast-food brand’s signature crunchy and soft tacos, as well as nachos, burritos, and quesadillas.
If you’re not one to eat your food in-store, then you may be partial to a grab-and-go situation, or prefer having it delivered from store to door.
Firmly team delivery? Well, you may have noticed that due to travelling, your burritos don’t always come in tip-top condition.

Sometimes they can arrive soggy or mushy if they’ve been sitting in their packaging for more than 30 minutes.
But it turns out there’s a simple ‘hack’ that you can employ to stop your Taco Bell treats from falling apart ever again.

If you head to the eateries’ app or head to the official ordering site, then you may see the ‘Make It Grilled’ option.
According to The Takeout, simply hitting this customisable option will see your burrito being briefly pressed in the griller.
Not only will grilling the product give it a dose of extra flavour, but it will ‘help give the burrito structural integrity during transportation and eating’, according to the publication.
The best part about the ‘Make It Grilled’ choice is that it doesn’t cost customers anything more.
Redditors have been raving about the menu ‘hack’ for years, with one taking to the social media site to write: “I know many of you informed Taco Bell fans know this but I've seen a lot of images on this sub of ungrilled burritos and I genuinely feel like there's so much more enjoyment to be had if they were grilled.

“Now I'm not judging or trying to be a jerk just wanting for everyone to get the most out of their taco bell visit. Personally after having my burrito grilled it is impossible for me to go back! They're delicious this way!”
A second said: “A bean burrito, extra cheese, sour cream and nacho cheese grilled is the best vegetarian thing. Soooooo good.”
“I do enjoy a good grilled burrito, but I don’t want it every time. Sometimes it can ruin the burrito for me if it gets a little too toasty,” a third reasoned.
Another reported: “Every Taco Bell Burrito Grilled > Every Taco Bell Burrito > All other Burritos.”

Earlier this week, a major Taco Bell rival announced it was making a serious change to its menu.
American-Mexican chain, Del Taco, announced that 600 of its establishments would begin leaving one end of its classic burrito unfolded.
“We tried to be ‘neat’ by folding the ends of our Classic Burritos,” the restaurant wrote on Facebook.
“Instead, we gave you a first bite of plain tortilla, followed by a blast of bears, and then you needed a search party just to find the cheese.”
The change is set to be rolled out from today (3 March) and promises ‘no more structural failures’ where Del Taco Classic Burritos are concerned.
