A woman has been charged after allegedly hiding blades in food items in Walmart.
Camille Benson was apprehended by police after razors were found in a number of loaves of bread in stores in Biloxi, Mississippi, per WLOX.
The Texan’s alleged razor rampage is said to have taken place in two separate Walmart stores before her arrest on 16 December.
The 33-year-old was then charged with ‘attempted mayhem’ with a bond of $100,000, per the Biloxi Police Department.

Police revealed in a statement to FOODbible that customers had reported finding the blades in loaves they purchased on 5 and 8 December, in two different locations.
When staff was notified of the findings, they reportedly checked their stock to find even more loaves of bread with more razor blades in.

Through the investigation, the store’s surveillance footage captured what looked like Benson in the act.

In the footage, Benson can be seen leaving the location with a white bag, per WLOX.
“On December 15, 2025 the Biloxi Police Department responded to a retail location in the 2600 Block of CT Switzer Sr. Dr. Biloxi, MS, 39531 in response to patrons finding razor blades in loaves of bread that were displayed for sale located inside of the store,” the police said in a statement.
They added: “On the same date Biloxi Police Officers also responded to the 2000 Block of Pass Rd. for the same complaint.”
Just one day later, the Biloxi Police Department revealed they had been tipped off that Benson had been seen the 1000 block of Division St, with the press release reading that ‘officers were able to locate and take into custody 33-year-old female Camille Benson, from the State of Texas’.

“Benson was charged with Attempted Mayhem and Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain set bond at $100,000,” it said.
Benson is currently being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center after police urged anyone who bought baked goods from Walmart to check for sharp objects contained within.
As for how Walmart responded, the establishment said it was thankful for the police for handling the issue with a prompt response.

The chain said in a statement: "The health and safety of our customers is always a top priority. We have removed and thoroughly inspected all potentially affected products at impacted stores in Biloxi. We appreciate law enforcement for their swift action and will continue cooperating with them as they investigate."
