Yes, we know it's only September, but Christmas is here already on supermarket shelves and M&S are the latest to unveil a whole host of festive goodies for 2026.
However, despite the delight of many fans, some customers are questioning whether it is, in fact, possible to have too much of a good thing.
M&S has revealed a whopping 300 new products will be making an appearance this Christmas season, as well as 400 fan favourite making a comeback.
The first lines hit shelves earlier this week (September 2) with more to come, but there's one particular flavour that some shoppers feel has been over represented.

While there's definitely plenty to tempt anyone already thinking about their festive food shop, there is one thing they appear to be hoping M&S will leave behind, and that's pistachio.

Who can forget the wave of Dubai chocolate that was seemingly everywhere?
There was even a worldwide pistachio shortage in April 2025, according to the BBC.
It's showing no sign of slowing down, judging by the flavour choices of many of this season's goodies, as M&S seems to have gone nuts for the flavour once again.
Among the new arrivals are Pistachio Muddles, which combine caramel centres and roasted pistachios with Swiss milk chocolate and pistachio nibs.
There is also a Pistachio and Single Origin Chocolate Bombe, featuring an all-butter sponge filled with pistachio cream, covered in chocolate sauce and finished with crunchy pistachios.
For pistachio fans, it is arguably excellent news.
Social media reactions to the festive reveal have included calls for the retailer to give the pistachio trend a rest, and a hopeful return of more traditional festive flavours.
One pleaded: "Can we stop with the pistachio? Not everyone likes pistachio," while another admitted: "I love pistachio, and even I think this is too much. It’s putting me off!"
"The obsession with pistachio just needs to stop," agreed another.
The good news is, the new range isn't all about pistachios.
M&S is bringing back its hugely popular Gingerbread and White Chocolate Cookies, which have become something of a festive institution after first appearing in 2024.
Food bloggers have already been tracking down the cookies and raving about them, so you'd better be quick to secure yours.
"It's truly the most magical time of the year!" wrote one happy fan about the news.
"My favourite!" raved another, but some complained it was too early.
There are also new Malt Balls Selection boxes, Original Gimme S'more Munch tins and a range of chocolate treats featuring familiar M&S characters.
The much-loved Big Mix Chocolate Tin is returning too, after reportedly selling out last Christmas.
Fans of Percy Pig and Rodney the Reindeer have not been forgotten either, with festive versions of the characters joining the line-up.
Advent calendars are also getting the M&S treatment, including the new Big Daddy Advent Calendar (but yes, there is pistachio and Dubai chocolates in here too!) and Choc Mini Marks Advent Calendar.
For savoury snack lovers, the Christmas range will expand further in September with products including Belgian Milk Chocolate Coated Crispy Chilli Peanuts, and Aberdeen Angus Beef & Mustard Crisps.
If you're feeling fancy, there are even some lobster-flavoured olive oil crisps.
With more than 300 new products, there is no shortage of choice, but those suffering from pistachio fatigue may simply have to look very carefully at the labels.
