And they aren’t wrong.
The Great British Bake-Off host has lost a whopping 11st after previously admitting she weighed 28st at her heaviest.
Over the last couple of years, the This Morning favourite has been getting serious about changing her lifestyle.
According to her, the newest health trend has been a regular feature in her fitness routine, which helps her to maintain the weight loss, which saw her drop to 16.5 stone.

It’s reformer pilates and a personal trainer.
Alison revealed: “I've got a personal trainer - she's amazing, she trains me when I can train. If I'm working, I don't train, I'll go for a walk. But when I'm at home, I'll go and have a session with her in the morning, just an hour. It might be four days a week.”
She also was sure to add that she eats what she wants, but makes sure she isn’t going too far with it, sharing: “I don't deny myself anything, I eat everything, but in moderation.”
Alison began her weight loss journey after she had received a 'frightening' pre-diabetes diagnosis, with her mum having type 2 diabetes.
Now she weighs around 16 and a half stone, and has even reversed her pre-diabetes.
As for the reformer pilates, it’s just pilates but using a reformer board that has numerous hard-hitting settings to really impact your muscles and endurance.
For Alison, she said she started them because she is ‘as stiff as a board’, but it has been ‘brilliant’ for her.
She even admitted to having started circuit classes in the mornings to really get her blood pumping.

She said per the Mirror: “You feel absolutely incredible after it. I really need a good stretch - so Reformer Pilates has been brilliant for me. I also do this early-morning circuit class from the brilliant Steve Hensel at Blue Zone. I'll go at 6.30am and do a full hour. It's a proper old-school gym.”
On top of that, personal trainer Lui Mancini revealed that they also focus on resistance training, and targeting certain muscle groups.
Sharing to Women’s Health, they said: “We kept the intensity high in every session by lifting weights that challenged her and minimising rest, but also made sure we did what Alison enjoyed as that way I got the most out of her.
“But even if she found something tough, she never gave up and always got it done.”
As for how she starts her sessions, it’s typically 10 minutes on the treadmill or a session on the indoor bike before diving into a 30-minute upper-body strength routine which includes the lat pulldown, dumbbell rows, dumbbell lateral raises, as she increases her repetitions.
Alison and Lui do this between two to four times a week, depending on what she’s got going on.
In between that, she drinks ginger shots to boost her immune system and takes it easy on her portions, but still enjoys her curried goat and rice.
