McDonaldâs regularly refreshes its menu, giving you plenty of choice if you want to mix up your usual order.
The likes of the McNugget, Big Mac, Quarter Pounder and the Hot Apple Pie are the first names on the team sheet, while some of its other mainstays like the Happy Meal and McFlurry get seasonal refreshes whilst keeping the core concept the same.

Its menus differ in different countries, too, with regional tastes factored into the new kids on the block. One of those, released in restaurants on June 10th 2025, is the USâs new Hersheyâs Sâmores McFlurry.
Described as âdeliciousâ by Ronald and pals, the new McFlurry flavour combines the vanilla soft serve based with a blend of Hersheyâs Milk Chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows â a great sweet treat to ward off the summer sweats.
âWhether youâre looking to grab a sweet snack before lounging around the campfire or looking to satisfy your summer craving, the Hersheyâs Sâmores McFlurry will be your go-to summer dessert,â McDonaldâs said in a press release.
âSo go ahead, treat yourself and your friend to the dessert of the season starting June 10 for a limited time only at participating McDonaldâs restaurants nationwide.â
Tasty as it sounds, fans who rushed to their local Maccies in the US have shared a similar criticism: the quality of the marshmallows.
âI tried it, and it tasted fine. It uses those dehydrated Lucky Charms-style marshmallows though, which threw off the texture for me,â said one social media user.
âDamn they canât afford real marshmallows?â said another. âThose things barely rot.â
Another chimed: âItâs like they went to Walmart to find the worst dried marshmallows from generic cereal and said f**k letâs do even worse.â
Some reckon the collaboration itself is cause for complaint: âHersheyâs isnât the brag it used to be.â
The new paper cups used for McFlurries have also drawn some criticism.
âHad it the other day and thought it was ok, the paper cups are horrible though and so messy,â said one Redditor.
âI hate the new paper cup things the McFlurries come in now,â bemoaned another.

Some cheerier feedback and hype was in the mix, too, of course.
âNow thatâs something Iâd like to try,â said one Reddit user.
âI had one yesterday and thought it was pretty good!â said another.
Another hoped it might hearken back to an old favourite: âDoes anyone remember the Smores chocolate bar Hersheys made? It was one of their best.â
