This is not a drill... with less than 100 days to go until Christmas, Baileys has launched its most festive flavour yet: Terry's Chocolate Orange.

Yes, this limited-edition collab is the combination your tinsel-decked dreams are made of as the iconic Irish cream meets the zesty orange flavour of Terry’s, for Christmas in a bottle.

News of the launch was recently confirmed on Instagram, but it's fair to say fans of the original liqueur were divided.

The overwhelming response was positive, with one fan exclaiming: "OH MY GOD! My two favourite things just had a baby. Please make me godfather."

Another wrote: "Grabbed one of these on Sunday... so tempted to crack it already!"

However, one sceptic described the collab as 'awful' while another said they were 'disappointed' by the flavouring, adding: "Would have been better adding orange to the chocolate Baileys".

Others were disappointed to hear it would only be available to buy in the UK.

Where can you buy Baileys x Terry's Chocolate Orange?

If you can't wait to see if you receive a bottle under the tree, why not treat yourself from Amazon (and save yourself a trip to the shops only to find it's not there)?

If the idea of a Baileys x Terry's Chocolate Orange hot chocolate doesn't appeal, how about serving it neat over ice, or pulling out your best cocktail making skills and shaking up a martini with it?

Fun fact: more than two bottles of Baileys and two Terry’s Chocolate Oranges are sold every second during Christmas time. Now you can get the best of both in one bottle.

Why wait until Christmas?

A spokesperson for Baileys said: “Why wait for December when you can start the celebrations now? Baileys x Terry’s Chocolate Orange is a match made in heaven - decadently indulgent and utterly delectable." We like your style.

"Terry’s is the ultimate festive treat, so taking inspiration from its iconic flavour is a recipe for pure delight. It’s time to pour the Baileys, crack open the Terry’s, and make the countdown as joyful, and as delicious, as possible!”

A rep for Terry’s added: “For generations, Terry’s Chocolate Orange has been a staple of the Christmas season. Partnering with Baileys to create Baileys x Terry’s Chocolate Orange is an exciting way to reimagine that tradition in a new and indulgent form.

"We can’t wait to see fans enjoying this irresistible treat in the run-up to and during the holidays.”

Nobody says you have to share though.
