Anyone who has worked in hospitality will know that some customers really do deserve to get told where to go.
Some hospitality staff might even lose a little control sometimes, and who can blame them? Some customers are the worst.
Working at Karen’s Diner must be a real treat, because rude service is all part of the brand.
The Australian-American chain has got franchises around the world, including in London, if you’re feeling brave.
Priding itself on offering the rudest service possible, eating there is certainly an experience.

A TikTok video has got audiences wondering if even the hard-working strops at Karen’s can take things too far, however, with one server going above and beyond to ruin her guests’ evening.
At a franchise on the brand’s home soil in Australia, the video from @larissacai shows the server bringing the orders over with a face like she’d been licking petrol off a thistle.
After whacking each basket down on the table, all whilst giving the camera a middle finger, she proceeds to eat an onion ring from one of the customer’s baskets.
She even gets a dunk of dip while she’s at it.
With a majestic air of nonchalance, she then turns to ‘serve’ another customer.
In terms of sticking to the bit, she absolutely nailed it.
Funny as it might seem, the TikToker didn’t seem to see the funny side: "After a one hour wait for food the rude waiter threw it on the table and started eating our onion ring."
Imagine turning up to a chain known for its rudeness, getting upset about the service, and then filming someone without their consent only to wonder why the server was rude.
Even in more charitable establishments, a middle finger might be fair enough if you turned up to a table that was filming you for its own amusement.

Such factors didn’t enter into many of the commenters’ minds, of course.
One wrote: "No cause why would you touch someone’s food that's unsanitary tbh."
"I could never deal with that," said another.
A third asked: "Why didn't you leave? 1 hour is too long."
Even those who acknowledged the brand’s approach thought the waiter had crossed a line: "Okay I get vibes n I would laugh. But stealing off my plate before I even taste my food is an inch too far.”
Plenty sided with the server, though.
"Exactly what I want to do to every rude customer I’ve ever had," said one.
Another added: "If I know it's their job to act like that and [if] they're making fun of Karens then I'm playing along lol, all in good fun."
Sadly for serving staff, rude customers aren’t something you can pick and choose. While customers go to Karen’s expecting impolite staff, hospitality workers expect it no matter where they work.
Be nice to people, why don’t ya? Maybe even if you work at Karen's Diner.
