Fast food worker reveals some of the 'most annoying' drive-thru customer behaviours

The videos from a Dunkin' staffer have had some people committing to changing their ways.

It doesn’t matter how entrenched in society the drive-thru lane becomes, there will always be a certain magic to rolling slowly from intercom to window to window and getting a platter of fast food handed straight into the driver’s seat.

Convenient and faintly-decadent as they are for customers, for staff in those fast food eateries they can cause a whole host of issues.

A major bone of contention is how customers behave whilst making use of these marvels of modernity.

A TikToker from the US, posting under the handle @keoshakraze, has taken to the platform to share her experiences of working the lane at a Dunkin’.

For those not in the know, Dunkin’, formerly called Dunkin' Donuts, is a US fast food chain that specialises in coffee and doughnuts, of course.

But keen to find out that she wasn’t the 'only one' to have experienced such things, Keosha shared her thoughts in a clip that’s racked up millions of views.

"Number one, when it's raining can y'all turn the windshield wipers off," she began, noting that she’s been sprayed by them on more than one occasion.

"I can't swim,” she jokes.

She then called out anyone who sits with their phones in their hands as they approach the window, making it unclear whether they’re about to use Apple Pay or scan their Dunkin’ Donuts app perhaps.

She also mentions people who make late additions to their order when the queue is already 'wrapped around the entire city'.

As far as poor customer behaviour goes, it’s fair to say these were pretty tame complaints.

After her first video went viral, Keosha followed up with some more Dunkin’ insights.

She added that people who order via their phones should attach names to their orders to make it easier for staff to identify whose is whose, and she also begged customers to be 'less indecisive'.

Additionally she shared an alleged experience with one particularly aggravating customer: "Not only did this lady ask 50 million questions about the Munchkins, the sizes, the prices and everything... just for her to say 'Oh I think I'll just grab the coffee today, no 50 Munchkins', after 15 minutes.

"Just for her to get to the window and order the 50 Munchkins."

For those who haven't dived into a Dunkin' treat at all, Munchkins refer to a doughnut-based menu option.

There’s another particularly irksome request that gets made of Keosha at the drive-thru window: customers who ask to select their doughnuts from the seat of their car.

"You didn't want to come inside for that?" Keosha asked.

Her videos have drawn plenty of like-minded views.

"The way I LIVE for these videos," said one viewer.

Another shared their own experience: "Biggest pet peeve when they come into drive thru... 'Oh man, I haven’t been here in years, I need a minute' EYE TWITCH."

Her videos have also had a pleasant side-effect of educating some well-meaning customers around making drive-thru staff’s lives a bit easier.

"I never knew about the windshield wipers," said one person. "I gotchu... I won’t do it for drive-thru."
